Director of Innovation

The Director of Innovation is responsible for driving the development of new, cutting-edge solutions and services that complement and enhance Stibo DX’s product offerings.
This role leads the early ideation, design, and execution of innovative initiatives, fostering a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and market responsiveness across the organization and partner ecosystem.
The director reports to the Chief Innovation & Product Officer.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and execute an innovation strategy aligned with Stibo DX’s vision and long-term business objectives.
- Lead the development of a product innovation roadmap that addresses future customer needs and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for new products, services, and enhancements that can differentiate Stibo DX in the media industry.
- Foster a culture of innovation by leading cross-functional ideation workshops, hackathons, and R&D initiatives.
- Monitor emerging trends in media, publishing and broadcasting, technology, including AI, machine learning, and digital experience and translate these into insights and recommendations for the development of future-ready solutions and services across Stibo DX’s product portfolio.
- Work closely with Stibo DX’s partners to identify and implement joint innovation initiatives, including the development of new modules, extensions, and connectors.
- Lead innovation projects from idea to implementation, in close collaboration with product and development teams.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree in Innovation Management is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in product innovation, strategy, or R&D roles within the software or technology industry.
- Strong track record of leading successful innovation initiatives and launching new products or services.
- Experience working with global teams and partners in a cross-functional environment.
- Track record with media and publishing technologies, including content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), and digital experience in media.
Required skills:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends and customer needs into innovative solutions.
- Project management skills, with experience in agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and cloud-native solutions in media.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess ROI for innovation initiatives.
